"Mind vs. Anthropology Class" is an installation that juxtaposes the inner workings of the mind with the structured environment of an anthropology class. The piece features a 17-inch monitor embedded within a backdrop of West African wax print fabric and yellow velvet, with the overall installation measuring 46.5 inches by 46.5 inches. Viewers engage with the installation using headphones, immersing themselves in the contrast between introspective thought and academic study. The video content was captured and first shown in July 2023, with the installation completed in March 2024.
